The company grew out of Alchemical Arts, the innovative corporate training and communications company founded by Giles Foreman alongside his friend and colleague, management expert Giles Ford. They developed acting technology to provide creative and dynamic solutions for a range of business problems; Giles Ford then went on to join the London Business School, and recently he and Giles Foreman joined together once again in a major programme for the Australian mining services giant - Orica.

 

GFCA Corporate is based at The Giles Foreman Centre for Acting in London - a leading centre for the training of the actor, located in the heart of London’s Soho district - and at GFCA Paris in the 18th arrondissement, convenient for the Eurostar from le Gare du Nord.

 

We specialise in the study of human expression, as developed by Yat Malmgren and built on the work of Rudolf Laban and Jungian principles. This work is perfectly designed for use in sales, negotiations, human-impact, presence and leadership training - and it is unique to this company. Giles Foreman trained as an actor at the original Drama Centre, London, the school that produced leading actors such as Anthony Hopkins, Pierce Brosnan, Frances de la Tour, Helen McCrory, Penelope Wilton, Tom Hardy, Michael Fassbender, John Simm. He is now one of the most renowned acting specialists in Europe, and regularly coaches on movies throughout the world. He founded his own Centre for Acting which has premises in London’s Soho district and in the 18th Arrondissement in Paris.

The techniques Giles uses for the training of actors can be utilised in a variety of ways that have borne fruit in a series of bespoke programmes, in such diverse companies as Porsche Holdings, Orica, Freeview,  Unilever, Deutsche Bank, Astra Zeneca, Sodexho, BBC, St Luke’s Advertising, Stopgap, McDonalds, Russell Reynolds.
